Recovery is defined as the act of regaining or returning to a healthy state of life, no matter what your illness or addiction. Psychotherapy focuses on healing the emotional roots of all addictions and mental health disorders, in order to begin the process of RECOVERY. Recovery, be it physical, emotional, mental, behavioral, and/or spiritual, is a process which requires time. In your disease you have invested every waking moment; you now have the opportunity to invest that same time into your RECOVERY. What have you got to lose? Most programs can stabilize you in the first 30-90 days of your sobriety, but provide little or no aftercare. Our program is designed to be implemented at any stage of your RECOVERY, and to provide follow up treatment for up to 1 year. It can be utilized as an adjunct to your existing inpatient, sober living, or counseling treatment program, or as its own program. This innovative, individualized Intensive Outpatient Program has its roots in working with the Dually Diagnosed client. These clients have alcohol, chemical dependency or other addictions, as well as mental health disorders. In addition, we also specialize in treating TRAUMA disorders. Offsite Treatment at Harmony Heals, Inc. We are a private practice group which specializes in the treatment of DUAL DIAGNOSIS: ADDICTION, TRAUMA/PTSD, & CODEPENDENCY. Harmony Heals, Inc. is a unique program which offers our clients the opportunity to create a treatment program tailored made just for them. Unlike most programs where you must fit into the schedule provided, we will assess the client to find out what treatment schedule works best for their needs, and then customize it. Harmony Heals, Inc. provides traditional therapies such as Individual, Group, Family, and Marital Counseling. As well we have Specialized therapies for the treatment of Addiction, Trauma/PTSD, & Codependency, which include: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.), Hypnotherapy, Psychodrama, Massage Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Therapy), Post Induction Therapy (Meadows Trained), Inner Child and Family of Origin (based on John Bradshaw’s Work), and Somatic Experiencing (developed by Dr. Peter Levine). All of these therapies are targeted at working with client’s who have experienced any form of Trauma in their lives whether before, during, or since their Addiction began. Without the ability to process and integrate traumatic experiences clients will continue to repeat self-destructive behaviors which eventually lead to being re-traumatized. In addition to working with Trauma, these therapies can be helpful in reducing Anxiety, Agitation/Anger, Depression, and Fear which is often paralyzing to someone suffering with an Addiction.
